Along with my passion to minister and propel people into a life of hope through the Word of God, has been the realization of the power of illustration and theatricals. An Uncommon Christmas was originally designed to touch each and every person in a very personal way. When I first began writing the script for this theatrical, I looked at each scene as it related to society. It was important and essential that real life situations were addressed, allowing the audience to relate to circumstances occurring in their own lives.

Countless people around the world have been affected by An Uncommon Christmas. Proverbs 1:33 tells us “But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil”.

Original "Uncommon Christmas" December 25, 1994

The original Uncommon Christmas had its first legendary performance on the evening of December 25th, 1994. This theatrical was scheduled to run for only 1 night. The success of that first night, led to An Uncommon Christmas running for 14 consecutive weeks, where crowds filled the church until there was not even standing room. The true victory, however, was seen when thousands of people not only witnessed the reality of an eternity destiny but ultimately made a personal and eternal decision for Christ, forever changing the course of their lives.

As a testament to the lasting effect and the powerful soul winning tool that is An Uncommon Christmas, countless calls and letters come in each year, requesting permission to show videos of this dramatic presentation in their own churches and in outreach sessions, that others might have the opportunity to make heaven their eternal home.

In creating An Uncommon Christmas – The Rebirth 2007 over 4,000 hours were spent in rehearsals and practices, over 300 hours spent in designing and creating the elaborate costuming, and over 1,500 hours spent constructing the stage and setting up all the special effects. This theatrical consists of the tireless efforts and the sacrifices made by more than 125 cast and crew members. The stage measures 160 feet across and 30 feet in depth. The stage design alone took over 1 year to plan and design and required an additional 7 weeks of construction and installation to be brought to completion.

An Uncommon Christmas – The Rebirth 2007 has been received with overwhelming success. This Christmas theatrical was scheduled for 3 performances and has already been extended for 7 consecutive weeks, due to popular demand. There truly is no limit to how God can use willing people to affect and reach out to our community and this city.

I thank God daily for the support of my family; my wife, Cindy and our two-year old daughter, Brianna, along with the prayers and support of each person willing to bypass mediocrity and realize the newness that God has for them each and every day. It has always been my wish to minister to all people, to show them that no matter where life takes them or what circumstance they are in, there is hope for a brighter tomorrow and a promise for eternal life through Christ. An Uncommon Christmas, the original and The Rebirth, is one of the ways God allows me to do this.
